The company's origins date back to 1974, when its founders Eric Reynolds, Dave Huntley and Tom Boyce decided to start their own sports brand during a joint stay in a student dormitory. Not long after its inception, the brand received its first order to produce more than a hundred down jackets for the film crew of famed cinematographer Mike Hoover.
