      Founded in 1926,UVEX is a family-owned brand that is a world-class manufacturer of winter sports equipment and accessories, such as ski helmets, goggles and sports goggles and protectors. The name UVEX is an abbreviation for “Ultra Violet Excluded,” which stands for ultraviolet exclusion and which is a fundamental property of ski goggles.

      As early as 1964, UVEX produced innovative goggles with an anti-fog coating on the lenses, and less than a decade later launched the Uvex Downhill goggles with spherical, injection-molded lenses. For the time, these were innovative discoveries that revolutionized the approach to ski equipment manufacturing.

      One of the faces of UVEX is athlete Rossi Mittermaier, who won two gold medals at the 1976 Innsbruck Olympics. Since then, the UVEX brand has gone from strength to strength and become a world leader in the production of ski goggles and helmets, as well as bicycle helmets, including road bike helmets.

      All UVEX products are created with attention to detail, and are additionally developed with the help of modern and quality technologies, including break resistant, colorvision, decentered lens and monomatic system, which ensure the durability and performance of individual equipment.
