Roxy is a brand founded in 1990 and owned by the Quiksilver corporation. The company initially specialized in creating women's swimwear and surfwear, but soon expanded its product line to include other products dedicated mainly to women, including snowboarding equipment and accessories, as well as snowboard pants and jackets.
The company's first ambassador became Lisa Andersen, who was wearing products from Roxy during winning competitions. After these successes, the brand began to additionally patronize surfing competitions, which strengthened its market position.
Since then, the brand has been constantly expanding its offerings. Currently, in addition to surfwear, Roxy's product range includes sports and casual clothing for women and children, as well as professional shoes, bags, backpacks and similar accessories. In 2003, the company also introduced a snowboard collection created in cooperation with Mervin Manufacturing. Less than two years later, Roxy launched a line of skis and ski boots, the result of a collaboration with professional brand Rossignol.
Roxy uses modern technologies in its products, including Silky Smooth, which provides snowboardswith lightness, flexibility and high levels of vibration dampening. The company's continuous development has brought it to the top of the current world.
